*Thank you for visiting our event page, please register if you would like to take part on the day (in any way you want to!) The money raised in this fund-raiser will go towards the cost of running volunteer training days, providing everyone with the necessary materials and support, marketing, insurance and other essential costs. Every single penny is making a difference and keeping A Touch of Gentleness going, spreading out through our communities. Thank you in advance for your contribution in whatever form it takes.
We will be starting the Seven Sisters three-legged hike from Seaford Esplanade because the views are slightly better in this direction and there are good transport connections back to Seaford.
Exact route details to follow (Approximately eight miles)
The Seven Sisters Walk is long and hilly making it a quite demanding hike, factor in the ‘Three Legged’ challenge, whatever the weather and for however long it may take, anyone with a reasonable level of fitness should enjoy the hike and the scenic views along the route.
If you are new to hill walking, the Seven Sisters will be an excellent challenge. It’s long and trying, but there will be plenty of scenic places to take a break, it’s achievable and the trail is easy to follow as it sticks to the edge of the cliff.
*Please note: The cliffs at Seven Sisters are very prone to erosion so stay well clear of the edge.
We really want you to join us and enjoy the day, but please be aware that A Touch of Gentleness takes no responsibility for any injuries or accidents caused during your participation.
I am extremely grateful to you for volunteering your time and energy into creating paths of peace and joy, however, everything you do is your choice and you understand that you do this of your own free will.
Assuring you of our best intentions and with our sincere thanks
Helen Prosper
